Mom in the Shot {Jan 26th To Infinity and Beyond}

How do you know you married your soulmate?
Is it the way he looks lovingly at you from across the dinner room table as your son dumps his bowl of pasta on the floor?
Is it when you go to snuggle up with him in the middle of the night to find a kid has pulled a sneak attack and is currently acting as the Great Wall of China in your bed?
Or maybe its when settle down with your little fam bam to watch a movie and 20 minutes in, its just the two of you on the couch sharing a bowl of popcorn watching Rio for 543rd time, while your kids have abandoned you for better offerings in the playroom?
For me, its when stuff like this happens...

Yes, as the kiddlets played safely in the tub, we modeled and posed in Bean's Buzz towel.
What you don't stretch the neck out in your sons towel, strike a pose and stare randomly up and to the left, then take photos?
Well we do and when it happens, its magic.
Soulmate magic.

In other Pixar related news, I totally made this for Bean the other day...

I had seen it on Pinterest and have been wanting to make it.
*Poof* I made it.

*Disclaimer: I was by no means paid by Pixar for this post, but in related news they can so pay if they are feeling so generous.*

9 years today, whoop whoop!

A couple of months back, Hubs was cleaning out his bed side table and came across something that he had saved.
When I saw it, I had a flood emotions.
Amazed he saved it.
Then I thought about it for a hot sec, and was like WOW I was a hussy.
It was the napkin that I wrote my number on for him.

Thats right, I gave him my number, ha.
Hussy.

But today we celebrate our 9 year wedding anniversary.
And that number hangs on our wall.

So I guess sometimes being a hussy pays off.

Happy anniversary Jeffie.
BHH.

10 years next year, its a BIG one.
We want to go somewhere.
Where would you go?

Sit right back and you'll hear a tale,

a tale of fateful date.
That started in a tiny cubicle,
with many glimpses from across the way.

The boy was a hot boss man,
The girl sure was swell.
The two went on a date that day,
with a buffer friend in tow, with a buffer friend in tow.

The girl was sure in luck,
as gold she was sure she had struck.
If not for that fateful date, she knows she
would not have love, would not have love.

Corny I know.
Today we celebrate 8 years of blissful marriage.
We both laugh at blissful, cause it is as corny as my lame attempt at lyrics above.
We have our moments, sometimes more then we would want.
But we get through them.
We do not feel the need to make work, but the want.
I really believe that mutual desire is what makes our marriage.

Dinner and a movie are planned.
No gifts needed.
Just each other.
Man I am super corny.
I think the only way I could top my corn ball salad would be with a
I ♥ Jeff
t-shirt.

XOXO
Have a happy day.

Mom in the shot Nov 10th & Be Thankful on Paper {All about Daddy}}

A note of thanks to the man I call Hubby.

Right now you are flying home after a same day business trip.
Thank you first for doing things just like that.
Making business trips as short as possible, so you can be home with us.
Because of those trips and all the other hard work you do in the daily grind, you
have made it possible for me to stay home with our babies,
THANK YOU.

Thank you for being the man our son will have as model to look up to as he travels through life.
With you as his Daddy he will follow in step with a successful, hardworking, family man, THANK YOU.

Thank you for being the example our daughter will have as what makes a wonderful partner. And I will say it now, any man in her life will have A LOT to live up to.
THANK YOU.

Thank you for being a goof. The one I can ALWAYS count on to make me laugh, even when I do not want to. Thank you for getting me. For letting me get a little nutty and then bringing me back down to reality. Thank you for not always agreeing with me BUT working things out.
THANK YOU.

Thank you for playing with our babies. For making them feel important and loved. You are the kind of Dad that works out his schedule to go to school events, takes us on vacation, and gets down on the floor with his babies.
THANK YOU.
Thank you for always making me feel desired, loved, and cared for.
Thank you for still asking me out on dates.
When you surprise me with a clean kitchen, a random load of laundry, or picked up toys
it makes me smile with happiness.
We celebrate 8 years in 2 weeks, Hubby here is to another 60 filled.
I love you.

And another thanks today.
This one goes to ALL the men and women past and present and their families
who have served our country.
My family appreciates you, not only on Veterans Day BUT everyday.
And extra thanks to our cousin, currently serving in Iraq.

Blog all about it Nov 2.

Rachel over at No. 17 Cherry Tree Lane has come up with a wonderful little project, for what I believe is such over looked holiday, Thanksgiving. This is so easy with HUGE results. You should join Be Thankful on Paper, I am.

Christina over at 2 little hooligans had posted a while back about this crazy cute casserole carrier she had made. With some major begging from many she posted a tutorial. Perfect gift {hint hint wink wink}.

Today is my Hubs birthday.
You are golden kid.
And I love you more then buttons have holes.

XOXO

Enjoy.

To my best friend.

You are our comic relief.
You are our provider.
You are our leader.
You are our snuggler.
You are our shoulder to cry on.
You are our world.

Each and everyday I thank God for bringing you into my life.
And for giving me the best father for our children I could have asked for.
Remember that you are loved unconditionally not just today but EVERYDAY.

I love you Hubby more then buttons have holes.
BHH.

Hilarious Outtakes - I ♥ Faces Week 9 {this is why I ♥ my Hubby}

He makes me giggle, laugh and sometimes he gets a little snort out of me.
I love his sense of humor and I love even more that Buggie
shows signs of it more and more each day.
