Can it really be that easy?!

So as much as my Hubby hates to admit it {"Get those leg warmers off my boy!}
baby leggies are essential for a crawling baby.
I had some hesitation in making some for Bean.
Only because I thought there has to be elastic involved, right?!
Man was I wrong.
When I read over this DIY, it took my all of 15 mins to make two pairs!

I used women's knee high socks from Target, $2 a pair people! They are not perfectly sewn but hey they were made by Momma.

Happy sewing!

Sidenote:
When sewing mine, they did not fit around the base of my machine, so I had to flip the long part through little over half way through.

Blessed in so many ways...

Today a new life was welcomed into my family of friends.
I am so excited for the arrival of baby Jayden.

Yesterday came the arrival of another sort to my home.
My new KING size bed.
And with it new sheets, quilt, and pillows.
Let the master bed room redo commence.
YEAH!

I had my 200th sale yesterday!
It would never have happen if it wasn't for all those of you who have supported
my little business. I thank you so much!
And to celebrate I am offering free shipping for the rest of the week!
So if you make a purchase from now until May 16th, just
enter 200th in the comment to seller section to get the credit back.

And lastly yesterday was a gorgeous day, and I was so happy to be able
to spend it with my little girl. We love going to our local splash pad...

Mid Week Mini Giveaway...

When the Easter bunny came this year, he delivered a fabulous bundle of goodies.
One of them was this delectably rich cook book, Cooking for Baby. Its says Baby across the front but it can be used for the whole family. Their is a wonderful assortment of snack foods {hummus, carrot cupcakes and so much more!} And as Melissa from Max and Ellie {might want to check out their UBER cute giveaway right now} had commented on this post, purees are great for sneaking into the foods of the picky eaters in our families!

I love this book so much I had to get one to give to one lucky winner.

Just leave a comment with your email to enter. This giveaway is open until April 8th at noon Eastern time.

Good Luck my fellow foodies!

Jellybean is getting so big {Lil Boo & Co. Winner}

Time can slip through your fingers like sand...
And when you have kids it seems more like an avalanche!
Jellybean started rice cereal this weekend. I had really wanted to hold off until 6 months.
But since his recent habit of waking up at 5am to nurse and then go back to bed started, we decided it was time to fill his belly with a little bit more.

He is still figuring it all out. But sure does look cute doing it! We are taking it VERY slow. No need to introduce a lot to him too early. And we are a little worried that he might have food allergies with all his skin problems.

But Easter came just in time for this new chapter in his life. Because lookie what his Mommy got in her Easter basket!

Do any of you have the Beaba machine? Would love to hear about your experiences with it. And I look forward to sharing recipes with you!

And are you the lucky ducky winner of the Lil Boo & Co. giveaway?
Winner has 48hrs from the post to contact me at amyholgersen@hotmail.com
or another winner will be chosen.
