When good things just happen...

Sunday Buggie and I found ourselves outside enjoying the gorgeous day.

Pre usual sidewalk chalk was out and I started doodling.

When I had drawn a few hearts, something came to me.

I could take a picture of Buggie for her Valentines Day card for school!

Then after a little brainstorming, we go this shot...

Later I came in downloaded it to my computer, added some text, and then sent it back to my phone.

Where I opened up Postal Pix, click a button and ordered 20 prints, for $7 bucks after shipping!

I can not wait to get the little 4x4 prints and work up a little DIY to go with them.

Look for it, cause you know I will HAVE to blog it!

Ok first things first, how do you like my new bloggie digs?

There is a few things I still need to do, like new buttons and such.

But when I got the artwork from Amanda over at Pencils and Daisies

I could not wait to put it up.

More to come on this talented lady, she is amazing.

Here I am deciding to grow my hair out. For real this time. I am going to get past the stupid ponytail stage and get long locks, its be 10 years people.

This needs to happen.

And here I am thinking wow, I can really pull off short hair. Maybe I shouldn't grow it out.

Have I told you I am a gemini, the most indecisive group there is?!

So what will I do?

Jury is still out.

Ha.

To sud or not to sud

I am little particular when it comes to hair products.

Having curly hair you kind of have to be.

Two things I DO NOT want to happen when using a hair product:

1. No looking like the BP oil spill happened on my head. A lot of the anti frizz serums are heavy in oil, which can cause MAJOR grease head.

2. NEVER I repeat NEVER do I want to resemble I scare crow with hair so crunchy it looks like

dried up hay.

So my hair dresser is aware of my pickiness when it comes to this.

If she has a new product marketed to curls I usually get a little sample to try.

This last visit was no exception.

I was so excited to try this new product which included a new shampoo.

Got in the shower squeezed a little in the hair and started scrubbing.

But something was missing.

The SUDS.

Then I looked down at the bottle and there it was "No-Poo Zero Lather Shampoo".

Ok so maybe it is my self diagnosed OCD or the fact that ALL the shampoo I have ever used

has produced those white clouds upon my head but this was just plain WEIRD.

I know it is totally psychological but it left me feeling like I had not washed my hair at all.

Sorry people but I happen to like my sham to have some poo in it.

And yes the 100% sulfate free label is appealing to help the environment, but I can not do it cause it is WEIRD I tell you just plain WEIRD!

Hair I am!

You can laugh at my self photos, I did.

But the hairs look good, and thats all that matters...

Few things on my mind.

Have you noticed a trend with my Mom in the Shot photos?

It has a name.

Momtail.

I am in this weird in between stage of growing my hair out.

After Bean came, my hair changed.

Now everyday, I pull it back.

I have VERY naturally curly hair, would you have guessed from my photos?

I DISLIKE this about me right now.

So I made an appointment.

And tonight I say "Hair today, gone tomorrow!"

Hum, can not wait for Mom in the Shot for tomorrow.

Have you ever seen this before?

Yellow watermelon?!

When I came across it at the grocery store, just had to grab it.

It is just as juicy and sweet as its counterpart.

But it takes a minute to process what you are eating.

Watermelon screams summer.
