Buggie {Jamz Streetwear}

Just had to share some images I took of my little string bean yesterday.
I look at her and sit in awe.
She is turning into such an amazing lady.

She is conquering her fears and putting herself out there by joining cheerleading next year.
This is HUGE for my little shy girl.

She is such a little force of nature.
Her love is undying.
Her friendships are her world.

Her beauty is undeniable.
Inside and out.

Her imagination is always on.

Her laugh is contagious.
And her sense of humor is natural.

Most of all she is such a joy.

------------------------------
Her amazing hat and shirt are from Jamz.
I am totally smitten with Jamz.
It brings me back to my Punky Brewster days.
The days when neon ruled the word.
Thanks Jamz for the amazing clothes and bringing back my childhood memories to relive through my kids!

Life recap.

Hi.
I will save the "hey guys I am alive, blah blah blah" stuff, since its has been said by me over the past year on every random post I have done.
Lets just do a quick life recap.

Since we last spoke,

Beyonce dropped a new secret album.

 Avery had her first run, and ran a 9:49 mile. I cried when she crossed the finish line.

Field Day came and was a jumping success.

My littles did what they do best, got snugly in some Hello sweatshirts.

I downloaded a new app, ha.
It was fun for this one photo, then I was like how many animal head photos do I REALLY want?!

Avery turned into a teenager, but seriously.

Then made us beam with Honor Roll and Perfect Attendance.

Nolan started soccer. Its pretty much the cutest thing ever.

I co- hosted a baby shower.

I jetted to Savannah for a girls trip. I HIGHLY recommended Savannah for a girls trip, it pretty much rules. {shirts from Passive Juice Motel}
 I got a furphew, his name is Murphy. I am smitten.

We celebrated Easter.

Buggie turned 8. Yes you read that right 8.

I gave up party planning so she could have her blowing party.
I ordered a cake and just showed up. It was pretty amazing and stress free.
She also got custom hand painted Lisa Frank inspired Chucks. They are epic.
Check out Sink or Swim for more info

 Lastly, I started selling Rodan + Fields, its pretty much the most amazing skin care.

So its been busy. And not slowing down. Today marks 25 days left of school. Summer is just around the corner and is already packed.
Oh I turn 35 this month, so there is that to look forward too, ha.

What have you been up to?

Belated 7th Fiesta Birthday Post

I am realizing some of you might have thought I forgot to blog a certain little girls  7th birthday.
If you are new to these parts you may not have noticed, but for those who have been following my ramblings for some time might have.  See I LOVE planning my kids parties, crazy LOVE.  So back in April, geez that was so long ago, Buggie had a 7th Fiesta! It was all her idea and I loved every second of it.  We had gone to Mexico in February and she fell hard for the country.  Kori, did a full post on her party here, but these are just some of my favorite photos of the day...

It was a colorful magical day.

Valentines Day Cards 2013

Hi.
Remember me?
No?
Who can blame you, it's only been a month...
We haven't been up to much, but I decided to get an early step on Valentines Day cards for Buggie to give her classmates.
Do you remember last years?
Yep, those are hard to top, so instead I just reached for just below that awesomeness...

I did not take any action shots of making the props, cause honestly it was way too easy to get the camera out to document....
I bought 1 yd of stretchy lace and some white stiff feathers, the rest of the items I used I had on hand.

I took the feathers and used painters tape to tape them down on some cardboard, then light spray painted them...
Once they were dry I hot glued them to the lace.

Then for her bow and arrows, I just went into my back yard got some branches and them wrapped some twine around the large one for a bow, and added some felt to make the bows.
Done and done.

Then we went outside and got some action shots...

{her shirt is from Target, Skirt is last year GapKids, and the leggings are from Hello Apparel. }

I loved how into it she got, which meant I got some amazing shots.
But this was the final pick...

And I am all for not giving candy for V-day, so we had decided to give pencils, hence the wording my fab friend Kori came up with!!

I loved how they turned out...
And Buggie said "Momma my kids are going to think these are the coolest."
Welp friends, that the seal of endorsement if I have ever heard one!

Printcopia Wrapped Canvas Giveaway {Nov26-Nov29}

Hello.
Its me.
You know that one lady that comes and goes out of the blogging world like a fine mist on a chilly morning.
You know another thing I am bad at?
Getting photos printed from our family photo sessions, like the ones we had taken by Emily back in APRIL, yep APRIL, as in 6 months ago.

So when I was contacted by Printcopia to try out their wrapped canvases, I knew right away what I wanted to have printed.  Emily had captured this great little trio of photos with the kids and I had wanted them lined up on the wall.

It was such an easy process to have them made.  Straight forward as straight forward can be.
- Pick a canvas size
- Upload you photo {ready for the genius part?! You can upload from Instgram and/or Facebook!}
- Then you pick you boarder {mirror image, image wrapped, or color}
Easy peasy.

When they came I decided to hang them with Velcro, I find it is the best way to keep photo from shifting on the wall.   And lastly, I took some washi tape and framed it out.

The nice people at Printcopia are wanting to share the canvas lovin and would like to give one of you fine folk a free 8x10 canvas!

You have up to three ways of entering {remember to leave one comment PER entry}:
- Leave a comment here that you are entering.
- Follow Printcopia on Facebook
- Follow Printcopia on Twitter

Good luck chucks.
You have until midnight on Nov 29th
Picking a winner on Friday Nov 30th

Buggie turns 6. {Pretty Garden Party}

This past weekend my little Buggie turned 6.
She kept telling me leading up to it "Momma, do not cry."
She knows me so well.
But I held my own and did not shed a tear.
But what I did do was put together a sweet girlie party just like she asked for.

Of course I teamed up with my girlie Kori from Paper and Pigtails.
 Who just came out with a beautiful line made from her hand drawn illustrations.
Her take on a girlie garden theme was a beautiful inspiration.

As I shared, I made some crepe flowers large and small for the table.
I also made a few cake stands with a couple old candle sticks I had and sprayed painted gold.

One thing that is ALWAYS a request for parties in our family are Oreo Pops.
And to make them have just a little sparkle I took some Wiltons gold dust and brushed them.

Another request Avery had was for powdered doughnuts.
I bought two bags of sweet sixteen one powder and on cinnamon sugar.
Then I took the bag of cinnamon ones added more gold dust and shook them to cover...

I would say in total it was around $80 for the whole table and food, not bad especially since it was all gone at the end.

And we decided for favors to give flower pots with some soil and seeds. Which the pots I got in the Target dollar bin, seeds were .99 each and the soil was $3.99 for a HUGE bag. So just $2 for each.
And EVERY kid was so excited to take them home.

One other thing we have done for the past three birthdays for Buggie is have a face painter.
And we have been lucky to have Carolina the Doodler for the last two of them.
She is AMAZING.
I highly recommend her for parties and other events.

The birthday girl was so happy which made us happy.
Good day for all.
