Halloween came a few days early...

Howdy Y'all!
We gathered up the Toy Story gang and headed out to Disney for some "Not so Scary" fun.
I have to say dressing up for Halloween is super fun, but doing it as a group takes it to the next level.
The kids got such a kick out of people referring to us as "the Toy Story Family" {and maybe Momma got a little kick out of it too}.

The best part was walking over and seeing that the new Fantasyland was open for a dress rehearsal, this is HUGE people.  I mean to walk on a ride that when it opens will have no doubt an 1hr+ wait and it took us 5 mins to wait, WAS AWESOME!  Sorry I am still a little geeked out by this...

Needless to say for anyone thinking if it worth the extra money for a "special" event at Disney, I vote YES!

Embrace the Camera May 26th {Buggie Date}

Welcome fellow "Em"bracers {get it, Em Emily, dork I know}
Honor once again to host Embrace the Camera.
My pictures this week remind me of why Emily started the Embrace the Camera moment.
GET YOURSELF IN PICTURES and create memories.

A few Embrace weeks ago, I talked about how important it is to have date nights with your significant others. Today I want to talk about how important it is to have dates with your kids.
Last week Hubs and I planned a secret. We called my MIL to come over to watch the Bean. And during pizza, we told her that we were taking her, no baby brother, to Disney for the evening.
This is her reaction...

After a quick potty break, grabbed some PJ's for the car ride home, and we were off!
No diaper bag {actually no bags at all!} and no stroller. Just the three of us.

When she was born she made my heart hurt from the love that filled it. And I still wonder how it holds it all.

We rode rides. Her favorite is the race cars.

It was a special time. A time she needed with just her Momma and Dadda.

We top our night off with ice cream and fireworks.

Perfect in so many ways.

Now are you ready to link up?!
Make sure to hop over and grab Em's button.
Remember these simple rules:
1. take a picture with you and your kids/spouse/family member/friend/whatever.
2. blog about that picture and include a link to our blog, or grab our button.
3. link your blog post up on mr. linky below.
4. visit the other embracers...give each other lots of compliments about how good we look with our greasy hair andsweatpants velour jogging suits on. cause yah, we need a little boost when it's been days since our last shower.
5. have fun!

don't forget to link your embrace the camera post, not just your blog.
this is really important---and really easy.

A mini "Bacation"

One great thing about living in Orlando is the fact that we have a ton of great hotels within 20 mins from our house.
Which makes the perfect mini "bacation" {Buggism}.
Hubs hotel points+Buggies b-day coming up=perfect time.
So we did some pool time.

With yummy strawberry daiquiris.

Warmin up in the sun after our strawberry daiquiris.

Big hotels with BIG empty hallways make for the best hotel exploring aka getting the extra
strawberry daiquiri energy out.

{did you catch that Sisty at the beginning, it melts my heart}

The next day we headed over to Disney.

Where we surprised Buggie with a princess makeover for her 5th birthday present.

And that was just Friday and Saturday, with Easter on Sunday we had a FULL
weekend.
It was perfect.

This is my first week sharing on Life Made Lovely.
Yippe for sharing what's good and happy in our lives.

PS
I am going to in and out this week.
SO much to do to prep for Buggie party this weekend :)

Living in the moment...

I try to make life spontaneous.
As much as I love schedules, making lists and my calendar, living off the
path brings a HUGE smile to my face.

Last Friday went like this.
I had a thought.
Made a call to my friend across the street.
"Hey, want to come over and play? I am going to let the kids
paint the driveway. Yes you heard me right. Dude finger paint, I am not that nuts."

Bean hung out under the tree, doing what he does best snacking.

Messy was understatement. But we LOVED every second of it.

While this was happening another spontaneous moment was in the works...

My girlfriend and I decided to clean them up, pack them in the car, and take them to Disney.

We got out there late. Rode the race cars, caught the parade, and saw the fireworks.

Living spontaneously can bring a breath of fresh air to your life. So I dare you, scratch that I double dog dare you, to do something off the cuff, out of your norm this week.
{pulling into the driveway at 1am}

You will not regret it.
XOXO

Toot Toot, our weekend and a Lucy Fifity Three winner.

TOOT TOOT
Thats my horn today.
I really don't toot it a lot {ha thats sounds funny!}
But I did it AGAIN!
Front page of Etsy.
I have to say this time I was not surprised.
I think it was a pretty darn clever treasury.
And the comments that were left were so sweet.
Cute huh?
TOOT TOOT!

This weekend we went away for a few days.
Away was not far, 45mins to Disney.
We were out there with our friends who have a little girl Buggie's age.
On a whim we called the Bibbidi Boppity Boutique in Cinderella's Castle to see if they had two
appointments open for our little princesses.
And they did!

The Before:

The girls were treated like true royalty. It was SO cute and SO fun. They got to choose a hairstyle out of three. They both decided on the fairytale princess. All in all they each got a crown, a jeweled Mickey clip, makeup, two bottles on nail polish, and a sash.

I highly recommended this experience. It truly was magical.

The After:

Lastly winner of the Uber cute little girls apron from Lucy Fifty Three was
comment 25:
Kristen Kelley!

Congrats Kristen, please reach out to me within the next 48hrs to claim your
winnings. If do not hear from you I will have to pick another winner!

I so excited I can not even control myself...

to be sitting front of a REAL computer! It has been nearly two weeks without my laptop and I am having true withdraws. I am at my parents house right now and feel a "little" bad that I ran right for the computer after handing off my kids. Wow my mind is racing and my fingers are aching to type but what? I have so MANY MANY things to say and post about. But for right now here is a couple of photos from our Sunday Funday to Hollywood Studios {season passes are the best to Disney when you live in Orlando}.

I will be back later with a giveaway...Oh it feels so good to be blogging.
