Hard but right decision...

I have been thinking for sometime now that I might shut down True Love Found.
I LOVE the creative outlet it has given me.
I *HEART* the relationships it has built.
But I DO NOT enjoy the added stress it has brought.

For the time and money I have put into it I really would need to take it to the next level to get anything back. And right now I am not ready to commit to that.
I enjoy being able to wake up in the morning and just ring up a friend for a playdate without having looming deadlines over my head.

I am not saying this will be forever but it is a right now choice.

I will be fulfilling all open orders and giveaway winners.
Then I will be getting my dinning room back {those of you who have been to my house know exactly what I am referring to!}

Much love to all those who have supported my little venture, it has meant the world to me!

xoxo

{More time for blogging, woo hoo!}

Sorry could not resist another crack shot! HEHE.

In shock! But you're right, you should be enjoying your kiddos first and foremost!

Do have a quick question though. I sent in a request a few days ago and didn't hear back. Does that count as an open order, or no?

Wow Amy, I totally know where you are coming from and admire you so much for putting your family first. Not enough people do that. I will probably be in the same boat after my next babe.
It has been fun following your adventures.
Will still be in touch of course!!

Amy, I am so very happy you were able to do Annie's Pony crown this year. I will treasure it always. But I think family is always first. The kids grow up too fast! =) I wish you the best in your endevours and I will keep following your blog.

Amy!!! Oh no! I will miss your beautiful crowns. I hope you will decide to make them again. I feel so lucky to own several of them- we love them all!! We especially love you. You are one in a million and one of the kindest mama's I have had the pleasure of meeting through Etsy. Just happy you will keep blogging- because I love staying in touch. LOVE the crack shot. We can never have enough of those. Wish I had taken more of my little bums at that age. :) xoxo

the right choice is always a hard one to make. good for you for making the best decision for you and your family. I totally understand, my etsy shop has been put on hold to even start up trying to keep up with a full time job and full time mommy and wife.

the right choice is always a hard one, but i am so happy that you made one that is best for your family. i totally understand where you are coming from, having an on line shop as well...and 3 year old twin girls...finding the balance is hard.

enjoy those little ones!

Congrats on your success with True Love Found. Going out on a high note (as they say on Seinfeld) ;-). Being a mom is such a demanding job. Adding entrepreneur to that as well makes me wonder how you do it all! I crack under the pressure, and I don't do half of what you do every day ;-). I completely understand the need to step back and just breathe. Call me when you want to play!!

Girl, I understand. There are days I feel like you... in fact I really felt that way before I hired seamstresses to sew for me.:( I also understand the whole dining room table thing... I do dream of someday having it back again, or my entire living room for that matter! Someday I will have a backyard studio, with french doors, lots of light and overlooking that garden and pool we DON'T have! ha.

Keep your chin up!! xoxo

You know I absolutely LOVE your crowns but I totally understand. The kiddos are so much more important. I know you have heard this from others...but they are only little once and you have to cherish those moments. I think it is absolutely awesome that you are putting them first!!!

Hi Amy - I have been following you for a while now (via the lovely Kim) and admiring your lovely family and all you do - I have been toying with the idea of a little business but my fears are exactly what you have expressed here so thank you for this post that has yet again made me realise that a business is hard work on top of a family - they are only young for a short time! I'm so sad that I won't have a chance to order your adorable crowns (so selfish, I know!) but I totally understand where you're coming from. And at least I'll still be able to get my fix here on your blog!

Oh, Amy! I'm so sorry to hear that! Although I TOTALLY, TOTALLY UNDERSTAND. I REALLY DO.

Here's to a new start with your blogging (and all your free time! And the dining room table!) : )
