Mention Me Monday {Oct 10th}

Happy Monday!
I stumbled upon this little gem of a DIY on Dwellings By De Vore. How can you not love these little night stands into a play kitchens?

This month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month {hope you knew that, if not you might want to move out from under that rock}. Bird Crafts has come up with a lovely little set with proceeds going to youngsurvival.org.

So throw a party, celebrate life and help save one at the same time.

Lastly I have been working with Paper & Pigtails on Bean's 1st birthday party.
And now it is the time to show a little sneaky peeky.

ITS HERE! {Share the Love Week}

After some brainstorming, lots of emailing, and some meetups
we are ready to start Share the Love Week.

Let me just say Emily and I both knew we had a few connections with some amazing shops
to ask for contributions {and boy did they} but I think we were both taken by surprise at
the people who we did not know and their willingness to get Elsabeth home {did you know her name? Beautiful right?}. Thank you.

Please go read all the deets on this event.
And be prepared to be WOWED tomorrow!

Can it really be that easy?!

So as much as my Hubby hates to admit it {"Get those leg warmers off my boy!}
baby leggies are essential for a crawling baby.
I had some hesitation in making some for Bean.
Only because I thought there has to be elastic involved, right?!
Man was I wrong.
When I read over this DIY, it took my all of 15 mins to make two pairs!

I used women's knee high socks from Target, $2 a pair people! They are not perfectly sewn but hey they were made by Momma.

Happy sewing!

Sidenote:
When sewing mine, they did not fit around the base of my machine, so I had to flip the long part through little over half way through.

Today is being brought to you by the number 1.

ONE month.
Yeppers in ONE little month this guy...
will be ONE.

A few things to share...

I am slapping my bad blogger hand as I type this.
I totally missed my own weekly post yesterday!!
So next week I will have 6 things to mention.

It took me two weeks {LOTS of nap crafty time} to make this Halloween count down
calendar but I think it turned out pretty darn cute. I chose to hand stitch each pocket, not sure if I would do that again!

Buggie is lovely getting something everyday {we are using as it as incentive for
good school drop offs, since she is still having some issues in the morning}.
I added things from the dollar bin at Target and Joann's plus some candy.
Today she got Barbie socks, and she could not have been more happy.

Emily's mailbox has been filling up everyday with tons of AMAZING things we have gathered
for the BIG fundraiser. She has been posting little shots of just a few of the merchants involved, check it out here and here.

This is a sneak peek at what I will be contributing...

{sorry for my bad iphone photos today, went to use my camera and the battery was dead}
