About six months ago I had a vision of Bean's first birthday. I knew who exactly would be able to pull it off, Paper & Pigtails. Kori is such a wonderfully talented woman to work with. I love when you can trust someone to make things fun, easy and professional.
There was a lot I wanted to do and ended scraping, he is only one.
Here it is Nolan Paper Airlines.
Hubby and I made these stands. We also made a stand for each kiddo, which my original plan was to have as an activity but they were having so much
fun I did not want to stop it. So we sent one home with everyone to decorate.
Bummed I did not get pictures of them.
Clementines, which was the first thing the kids wanted in their bag.
I made my girlfriends famous sugar cookies, if you love a doughy, caky sugar cookie these are where it is at. I will share recipe soon, pinky promise.
I took straws that I had purchased from Hey Yo Yo stuck a marshmallow on the end, dipped in water, and then into colored sugar, easy peasy.
Christina from 2 little hooligans made me these clean crisp white drawstring bags for the loot. I laminated the luggage tags that Kori had made and attached.
These little cups are the most adorable little snack size things EVER. Blue cotton candy, peach puffs, and baby goldfish made for the perfect blue and orange food.
I recruited my girlfriends husband who is the manager for an unnamed airline to collect wings for me. Then used a circle punch to cover the unnamed airline's logo.
Every pilot needs their own Aviators.
You may have had cake pops already, but I will say it here and now, you have not lived until you have an Oreo pop. And pinky promise to share this recipe {I am laughing typing recipe, it is so easy it is embarrassing}.
The little suitcases came from Bake It Pretty, which happened to be lined in orange and blue paper, I call that SERENDIPITOUS!

Where did you find the aviator glasses? I've been looking for some for a 3 year old birthday party. shannonqualls @ gmail (dot) com
ReplyDeleteadorable party theme and execution! :) fab job!
ReplyDeletequestion... where did you get the bucket to put the clementines in? i can't find one like that anywhere and i'm 1.5 weeks out from our party! help! :)
The buckets cames from the Target dollar bin last fall, sorry wish I had another source to share. But with spring stuff hitting the shelves, I would say you can find a steel bucket and spray paint it white. I would check the floral section at Joanns.
ReplyDeleteHope this helps!
