I need some suggestions on a double stroller.
Bought this one and (excuse my french) it SUCKS!
And because I bought that, I had to buy this. And it is even more
SUCKIER!
So I need some direction for a new stroller, remember I have a 3 1/2 yr old and a 1 month old.
Thanks Ladies...
Buy the McClaren Double Stroller. I had it for my girls and loved it. And my friend has one for her boys. Her boys are in Pre-K and 1st grade and she just stopped using for our Disney trips.
ReplyDeleteI have that in the single stroller and love it! What don't youliek about it? McClaren makes nice ones but be careful not to chop off a finger....some were recalled!!!
ReplyDeleteI just bought my daughter the City Mini...she has a two week old and a two year old. She got the bar that goes across the front for the car seat to sit on. She has the McClaren single but the McClaren double was wider than this one and she liked the slim lines better.
ReplyDeleteI started with the side by side Zooper for my twins and ended up using the Graco Duo Glider. I love that stroller! It's so much easier to manuver than the side by side AND roomy enough in the back seat. It also has a built in cupholder (a MUST for those lattes) and cubby for keys, toys, and such. The bottom basket is enormous and easy accesible. The seats even come with trays and cupholders. It's easy to fold/unfold and is really light compared to other double strollers. I think their fairly reasonable in price (I traded for mine. I had a PegPerego Double stroller that was a nightmare.) If you go for a side by side remember to measure the width of the stroller compared to the width of doors and aisles in stores...sometimes that was a problem for me with the Zooper. Good luck!

Joovy Caboose - if you will be inside or on sidewalks! Baby Jogger Double Stroller if you will be on more rugged terrain.
ReplyDeleteI have this one but in red for my girls: Kolcraft Contours Options Tandem Stroller - Twilight. (babies r us)
ReplyDeleteI love it, it's great if you have a baby and toddler or 2 toddlers when your baby gets bigger.
The only down side is you do need a lot of room to fit in your car.
It's a good jogging stroller also, since the wheels are pretty big and pushes easy.
I love my Phil & Ted's Vibe (I won it, otherwise I wouldn't be able to affor it!) but have only WONDERFUL things to rave about it! I love how you can make it a single or double in just a click.
ReplyDeleteAlso, can't wait to see which Sakura you chose! :)

Not sure if you've bought one yet, but I too have the Maclaren double and LOVE it. I was actually just pushing my 5 month old and my 2 year old in it (while my OTHER 5 month old was in the Ergo)...and at one point, I was pushing it one handed while I was on my cell and couldn't help but think how easy it was to maneuver even with such a big difference in weights! Good luck and remember that you get what you pay for so you're gonna have to drop a bit to get something good!
